TIRE DISPOSAL DAY is TODAY!

The City of Nome will be sponsoring a tire disposal day today from 8-12 in the fire department parking lot.

To qualify, you must present with a water bill from the City of Nome.

A total of 3 tires per water bill will be accepted. Tires can be up to 22" in diameter but must be "clean" (meaning not covered in mud)

Sorry, there is absolutely no early drop off and tires will not be accepted after noon.

The east end of Florida St. at 365 will be closed temporarily tomorrow morning while crews unload equipment and supplies to complete the sewer project. Drivers may detour down Louisiana St. to get to 365. Please drive slow in the area.
