A quick update for the 2026 Nolensville Fire & Rescue Citizens Fire Academy:

The six-week academy will now begin Tuesday, October 6, 2026, with classes held Tuesday evenings from 5:30–8:30 p.m. There will be no class during fall break.

The Citizens Fire Academy offers Nolensville residents age 21 and older with an opportunity to gain insights into Nolensville Fire & Rescue through hands-on experiences, demonstrations, and opportunities to learn from the men and women who serve our community.

Space is limited and registration is first-come, first-served. If you’re interested in learning more about your local fire department and getting a closer look at the work our firefighters do, we’d love to have you join us.

We hold close the families who carry these memories every day, the first responders who showed extraordinary bravery, and the communities across our nation that stood together in the face of adversity. 25 years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget.

The annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive is on! Pick your side, donate blood, help save lives, and honor the badges with us on the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

The details: Friday, September 11, from 6am-6pm at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library. Come out and support the badges while providing needed blood donations to the Red Cross!

🚧 WATER MAIN BREAK | TRAFFIC ALERT 🚧

Nolensville College Grove Utility District is currently responding to a water main break on Nolensville Road in the Historic District across the street from Mill Creek Dental.

Traffic in the area has been reduced to one lane while crews work to make repairs.

Motorists should expect delays, plan for additional travel time, and exercise caution when traveling through the area.

We appreciate your patience while crews work to resolve the issue.

Thank you, Fire Chief Matthew Lupo, for your years of dedicated service to Nolensville Fire & Rescue and the Town of Nolensville.

Chief Lupo joined Nolensville Fire & Rescue as a Captain in 2021 and was later promoted to Fire Chief in 2025. Throughout his time with the department, he provided steady leadership and helped strengthen the organization through his commitment to serving our community.

As Chief Lupo begins this new chapter in Michigan, we thank him for the lasting impact he has made on Nolensville and wish him all the best!
