Tensions arise between Central Bell County Fire & Rescue, board members and City of Nolanville

To the Citizens of Nolanville, and surrounding response area for Central Bell County Fire and Rescue.

Central County Fire and Rescue would like to reassure all residents of the City of Nolanville that we are still here for every call when you call us for. We are your Fire Station and we aren’t going to standby and allow you to suffer for other people’s actions. We are committed to this community and to our county response area. Not once have we ever said we were not responding to calls in Nolanville and not once have we said we were leaving. This community is our family and we will continue to be here for you. Whether the City of Nolanville wants to support us financially or not. We still have one engine and we have the support of Killeen FD to respond for every fire alarm we have within the city limits. You have heard we let our board go. This is 100% true. We replaced them with a board that will have your best interest at heart. A board that will continue to help us grow and succeed. Because we refuse to bring the replaced board back the City has taken vehicles we were paying for and a wildland truck that was bought as a donation for us. We are working closely with other Fire Depts in the county to obtain another engine to fulfill our commitment to you. Let me assure you one more time that we are committed to the better good of the community and we will continue to be here for you. I’d like to thank each and everyone of you that have reached out to show your support. Yes our department has had issues in the past but we are not the same department anymore. We are growing in operations everyday, we have amazing leaders, and firefighters with more heart and dedication than we’ve had in years. I challenge you to reach out to your city leaders. To ask the questions you deserve to have answers to as tax paying citizens. We may have Central Bell County Fire and Rescue on our doors, but us as members know that we will always be Nolanville Fire Department.
