Historic cooperation at the Porder!

Santa Cruz County Sheriff David Hathaway and his elite team met with The Sultan and Chief for high-level talks concerning the greatest footwear threat facing our two nations: Crocs.

Intelligence was shared. Alliances were strengthened. The Porder Batrol truck was inspected. And while the United States and Slowjamastan may not agree on everything, we stand united in the belief that no civilized society should tolerate shoes with holes already in them.

The War Against Crocs has entered a new phase, comrades—and this time, we have backup.

The Chief’s official Porder Batrol truck has suffered a flat tire in Nogales, Arizona.

Authorities suspect road debris. The Sultan suspects sabotage. The Chief suspects we need a new tire.

Porder security remains at Level Greenish. Please remain calm and send Dubles.

🚨 HISTORIC DIPLOMATIC VICTORY!

Sheriff David Hathaway and The Sultan have officially signed a proclamation banning Crocs throughout Santa Cruz County.*

Public safety has been restored. Fashion crimes will be prosecuted. Foam footwear has been put on notice.

You’re welcome, Santa Cruz County.

*Proclamation may be mostly ceremonial. Our hatred of Crocs is not.

We honor and remember Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Patrick Devon Thompson, who lost his life on Friday, September 2, 1994.

Sergeant Thompson was driving an unmarked patrol vehicle during a heavy rainstorm and collided with another vehicle. Tragically, he was pronounced at the scene.

Sergeant Thompson dedicated 18 years of his life to law enforcement. Becoming the first K9 officer and establishing Camp DARE. He is survived by his wife, and children.

We honor his service, sacrifice, and lasting legacy.

Gone, but never forgotten.
