Our Public Works Department is currently accepting applications for a Mechanic.
Under general supervision, this position performs preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and major overhauls on City motor vehicles and heavy equipment. Responsibilities include engine tune-ups, electrical diagnostics and repairs, tire repairs and replacement, welding and fabrication, road service calls, and assisting with maintaining accurate fleet maintenance records. The position also helps ensure safe and efficient operations within the City’s Fleet Department.
