Hamilton County and the City of Noblesville invite the community to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, recognize the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s first responders, and reflect on the unity that followed one of our country’s darkest days.

Hamilton County’s Bicentennial Pavilion at Silos@37 is in the running for the 2026 Monumental Awards People’s Choice Award!

The pavilion was built to commemorate Hamilton County’s 200th anniversary and has quickly become a gathering place for weddings, 4-H activities, exhibitions, county events and more. It even incorporates wood paneling from the 70-year-old fairgrounds building that previously stood on the site.

Flood debris pickup is wrapping up in Hamilton County.

Thursday, September 3, is the final day for residents in flood-affected areas to place remaining debris curbside.

After the holiday weekend, crews will make one final sweep through affected neighborhoods to identify and collect any remaining debris. After that, residents will return to regular trash service or other standard disposal methods.

Please call the Flood Hotline at 317-645-3261 to be added to the pickup list.

The City of Noblesville and Hamilton County, Indiana will gather on Friday, September 11, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that claimed nearly 3,000 lives on September 11, 2001.

The public is invited to attend the joint 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at 11:00 AM at The Silos at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant Street in Noblesville.

The ceremony will include remarks from Hamilton County Commissioners President Christine Altman, Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen, and local leaders. A Joint Honor Guard representing the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Indiana, Noblesville Police Department, and Noblesville Fire Department will present the colors during the ceremony.
