The City of Nixon Dump will be closed on Friday June 12, 2026 and Saturday June 13, 2026 due to construction activities. The entrance to the dump will be blocked during this time, and access will not be available.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Beginning June 11, the City of Nixon will begin flushing the municipal water distribution system every Thursday. This routine maintenance is conducted to help maintain water quality and ensure the continued reliability of the water system.

Residents may experience temporary discoloration of water or slight fluctuations in water pressure during flushing operations. If discoloration occurs, allow the water to run for a few minutes until it clears.
