ATTENTION ALL BOATERS!
Hours for the Sutcliffe Watercraft and Decontamination station for the week of July 1-6 are as follows

Wednesday July 1st- 6AM-6PM
Thursday July 2nd- 6AM-6PM
Friday July 3rd- 6AM-6PM
Saturday July 4th- 6AM-6PM
Sunday July 5th- 6AM-6PM
Monday July 6th- 6AM-6PM

Please remember to CLEAN, DRAIN, AND DRY your watercraft prior to inspection. We will be CHARGING DOUBLE decontamination fees for this period. These fee's are completely avoidable as long as you show up CLEAN, DRAIN, and DRY. We ask that you raise and lower your motors, open compartments to allow for sufficient dry times, and to drain all ballast tanks and bags before coming out.

Just a reminder to all of our boaters who are coming out Fourth of July weekend that we will have SURGE PRICING for decontaminations July 1st-6th! These fee's are completely avoidable by showing up CLEAN,DRAIN, and DRY!
If you are able to come before the weekend for a prior inspection we can attach a wire seal to your boat and expedite your inspection process entirely!

ATTENTION ALL BOATERS: With Fourth of July weekend fast approaching, The Sutcliffe Watercraft Inspection Station has a couple of updates regarding SURGE FEES for 4th of July Weekend as well as hours of operation updates.
We would like to remind everyone that these fees are COMPLETLY AVOIDABLE by showing up clean, drain, and dry.

Prevention remains Lake Tahoe's best protection against invasive golden mussels, and everyone has a role to play.

Since the initial discovery of golden mussels in central California, these harmful mollusks have invaded waters as far south as San Diego. But there is good news: with the help of boaters and paddlers, golden mussels won't spread beyond the California Water Project.

Watercraft are the primary transporters of aquatic invasive species (AIS), but this can be prevented by inspection, decontamination, and boater vigilance. Boaters and beachgoers are encouraged to follow Clean, Drain, Dry protocol to protect Lake Tahoe from aquatic invaders.

The 5 fish below are the native or naturalized species of Pyramid Lake.

If you catch any fish that are NOT listed below please do not release them back into Pyramid Lake, they may be non-native or invasive!

If you need help with fish identification please reach out to Pyramid Lake Fisheries, or bring it by the watercraft inspection station.
