At Tuesday night’s Nitro City Council meeting, Captain AJ Shinn was presented his second Life Saving award, for action he took at a S. Charleston restaurant, saving a woman who was choking. Presenting AJ with his award were Nitro Fire Chief Casey Mathes and S. Charleston Fire Chief Virgil White.
