Our department would like to highlight some safety information provided by the Niska-Day committee. Bicycles, E-bikes and E-scooters are not permitted on the fairgrounds.

On May 13th, we were requested mutual aid to the Niskayuna Fire District 2 for a structure fire on Whitney Lane. Crews battled a stubborn fire, but no injuries or fatalities were reported.

Schenectady Police announced on Thursday that the body recovered from the Mohawk River in Niskayuna last week has been identified as 21-year-old Malachi Fennicks.
