🇺🇸Did you know that you may be able to register to vote and participate in the Primary election even if you’re currently only 17 years old? 🇺🇸

🗳️Kentucky law allows qualified individuals to register at 17 years of age and be able to participate in the Primary Election if the individual will be 18 years old by the General Election🗳️

🔴 The last day to register to vote to be eligible to vote in the May 2026 Primary Election is April 20, 2026

The original Farm plate is for commercial vehicles only, who work on or own a farm and can be registered at 26,000 lb or 38,000 lb with a CDL license

Due to the winter weather event, Jessamine County Fiscal Court is issuing a couple closures.

First, the Jessamine County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, January 26th. This closure includes both the administrative offices of the Fiscal Court and the Jessamine County Clerk. This decision puts safety first and will give road crews time to do their job.

Second, the Jessamine Creek Gorge trails will be closed until conditions improve. This closure is for public safety and to reduce the need for emergency response at the trails during hazardous conditions.

This complete list of candidates includes all eligible city and county offices that are filed with the County Clerk’s Office, with the exception of Wilmore City Council, Jessamine County School Board and Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisor, which have a separate filing deadline of June 2, 2026🇺🇸🗳️
