Attention All Dual Credit Students & Families! We are thrilled to announce that we are teaming up with JCTC to bring you our first-ever Dual Credit Orientation Night! If your student is taking a dual credit course this upcoming school year, mark your calendars! Event Details Date: Tuesday, August 11th Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM Location: East Jessamine High School What We Will Cover: Program Expectations: Find out what it takes to succeed as both a high school and college student. Tuition & Scholarships: Learn about the updated costs ($97 per credit hour) and how to apply for KHEAA scholarships to cover the bill. Application Workshop: Meet face-to-face with college representatives to complete college applications on the spot! Account Setup: Get step-by-step help logging into college portals and setting up student email accounts. Don't miss this opportunity to get ahead and ensure your student is 100% ready for day one. Be sure to mark your calendars for Jaguar Orientation this August. We’ve provided several dates and time windows to make attendance as convenient as possible. You do not need to attend for the entire window—simply choose the date and arrive at the time that works best for your family within that designated time frame.
Both students and parents are encouraged to attend as we prepare for another exciting school year. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and kick off a great year together!

While summer has officially begun for our students, the work at East Jessamine High School never truly stops. Today, as the first day of summer break begins, our incredible custodial team is already hard at work preparing our building for another successful school year. From deep cleaning classrooms and hallways to tackling projects that keep our school looking its best, they work tirelessly behind the scenes to create a safe, welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Thank you to our custodial staff for your hard work, pride, and commitment to East. We appreciate all that you do to keep our school shining.
