💵 A beautiful Friday morning for check presentations! 💵 Perdue Environmental Contracting Company - PECCO along with the Jessamine Fair presented checks to the Jessamine County Food Pantry and the Jessamine County Animal Care & Control for $10,400 each!!!
🛻 This money is from YOU as a community supporting the TNT Truck & Tractor Pull. From gates fees, entry fees and concessions all the proceeds went directly to these two nonprofits. This will be an annual event and each year two nonprofits will be beneficiaries.
Max Vanderpool, JCFP, said this check will kickoff their capital campaign in efforts to purchase a building.
Marcie Pendleberry, JCACC, stated the money will help to spay and neuter animals in an effort to stop over population. And if anyone is interested, sweet Molly in the picture is available for adoption.🐾❤️

What a great morning to be engaged in our community! 🇺🇸

This morning’s Legislative Breakfast brought together a strong group of local business and community leaders to hear from Judge Executive David West and Nicholasville Mayor Alex Carter.

It was a great opportunity to hear directly from our local leaders, learn more about what’s happening across Jessamine County, and engage in conversations about the future of our community.

At the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce, we believe a strong community starts with people who are willing to show up, stay informed and be involved. Creating opportunities for our business community to connect with local leadership is an important part of that work.

A special thank you to the Nicholasville Police Department for welcoming us and allowing us to use their facility for this morning’s event. And, of course, thank you to Charlie at Public Well for providing a delicious breakfast for everyone!

We’re grateful for the businesses, leaders and community members who continue to show up and invest in Jessamine County. 💙

✨ Jess Women | An Evening of Connection & Inspiration

Last Thursday, Jess Women gathered at the beautiful Ghost Fox Winery for an evening filled with honest conversation, connection, and a whole lot of inspiration.

We were so grateful to hear from Crystal Rae Geis, owner of AD-IOS Web Development and The Lift Bar Med Spa, as she shared her journey of building businesses while balancing family, ambition, uncertainty, and all the joys and challenges that come with entrepreneurship. Her willingness to share not just the successes, but also the fears and realities behind the journey, made for such a meaningful conversation.

Because behind every business is a person — and behind every success story are countless moments of courage, uncertainty, growth, and perseverance. ❤️

We also had the opportunity to shine a spotlight on Lord’s Legacy Life Ministries, learning more about the important work they’re doing in our community.

And, of course, there’s something special about getting women together in a room to encourage one another, share experiences, make connections, and simply enjoy an evening together.

Located in the heart of downtown Nicholasville, Mercantile Coffee & Feed has become a local favorite for incredible coffee and drink options, delicious sandwiches and a welcoming space to gather.
