Our shelter residents are blessed every day because of a community that continues to step up when needs arise.

This week, we are asking for help with some cleaning and sanitation supplies that help us keep the shelter safe, healthy, and welcoming for those we serve.

Most importantly, please keep JCHC, our residents, our staff, and our volunteers in your prayers.

If you are able, please prayerfully consider making a monetary donation as well. Financial gifts allow us to respond quickly to needs as they arise and help keep our doors open to those who need a hand up.

Even if you're unable to give at this time, you can still make a huge difference by sharing this post. Every share helps us reach someone who may be able to help.

Hello Jessamine County ☀️

We’re excited to be a part of something special coming up at the Jessamine County Public Library.

Join us on May 2nd from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM for a Derby Day Celebration filled with fun for the whole family 🐎

This is one of those events that truly brings our community together. From games and music to live ponies and Derby themed activities, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

The Jessamine County Homeless Coalition is proud to be providing free food for attendees, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve and connect with our community in a positive, welcoming setting.

Events like this are what we are all about
showing up, giving back, and being present where our community gathers.
We hope to see you there. Come enjoy the day, bring the family, and spend some time with us.

Every month, babies right here in our community go without clean diapers because families are struggling to make ends meet.

This is the week.

Our Jessamine County Diaper Days Distribution is this Saturday, and we need your help to get as many diapers as possible into the hands of those who need them.

We’re collecting baby essentials basically anything a baby can use. All items must be new and unopened, except diapers, which may be open.

Everything donated now will go directly to local families this weekend.
Please give if you can. Please share so no parent and no child goes without what they need.

Jessamine County Homeless Coalition is hosting our Jessamine County Diaper Days Donation Drive, and we’re asking for donations of baby essentials basically anything a baby can use. All items must be new and unopened, except diapers, which may be open.

We’re accepting donations now through March 12th, and everything collected will be distributed to families in need on March 14th.
