We remember when time stood still.
When fear overcame our nation.
On this somber day, take time to honor, to remember and be kind to people you cross paths with, especially today.
You never know what someone else is going through.

Today is World Su***de Day.

A day the world acknowledges all who have been touched by su***de.
The most recent statistics from 2024 reports that 48,824 people died by su***de. A decrease of 1% from 2023.
It's not much but it is movement in the right direction.
But today, I personally ask you to be part of the change.
Have the tough conversation, learn about warning signs, normalize the conversation.
I do this for all that struggle, for everyone we've lost, and for the people like me left behind.
Oh how I wish I didn't have to post this, to talk about this, to advocate for this but I do.
I do it for all the Brian's out there. For all the parents like me. 💚☘️
"Be the change you want to see in the world".

Mental health is a team sport.

We proudly joined the United Way of Connecticut for a special press conference today, on 9/8, to raise awareness and positive visibility for the 988 Su***de and Crisis Lifeline and highlight the work of LAX2LIVE®, our student-athlete program advancing mental health education and su***de awareness.

Our student athlete ambassadors help bring ownership to the program and remind us that “it’s ok to not be ok” and resources like 988 Lifeline are always here to help.

Through the power of sports and teammates looking out for one another, we’re helping young people recognize when someone may be struggling, start important conversations, and know where to turn for help.
