The 169th Regiment (RTI) recently hosted its holiday party, bringing together Soldiers and staff for an evening of recognition, gratitude, and celebration. The event began with heartfelt farewells to two exceptional leaders, MSG Cruz and CPT Sin, as they embark on their well-earned retirements. We thank them for their years of dedicated service and lasting contributions to the Regiment. We also bid farewell to MSG Leca, recognizing her outstanding service to the RTI and wishing her continued success in her future endeavors.

The evening continued with the recognition of four outstanding professionals who earned Instructor and Staff of the Year honors: CPT Campbell, SFC Bennett, and SFC Miller as Instructors of the Year, and SFC Peters as Staff of the Year. Their commitment to excellence and leadership exemplifies the standards of the 169th Regiment—congratulations on this well-deserved achievement.

Additionally, we had the distinct honor of awarding the Instructor Badge to MSG Cruz and Chief Ciullo, recognizing their professionalism, expertise, and dedication to developing future leaders. Congratulations on this significant accomplishment.

Following the formal recognitions, the celebration carried on with great food, laughter, camaraderie, and lighthearted superlatives, making for a memorable evening that reflected the strong esprit de corps of the 169th Regiment (RTI).

Finally a big thank you to SFC Encarnacion and SSG Croff on an amazing job done with decorations and putting everything together. Amazing work!!

Students attending the 68W MOS transition course held at Camp Nett, attended hands on training with real patients alongside nurses at Hartford Hospital in May.

This training event occurred at the end of the first phase of this course. These students overcame this academically challenging phase which resulted in the students being qualified as Nationally Registered EMTs (NREMT).

We wish them luck as they progress through the next two phases of training to become qualified Army Combat Medics.
