As we have received several phone calls over the past few days, we are sad to reiterate our March decision that the 2026 Thunder of Niagara Air Show has been canceled.

We understand many members of our community were looking forward to this event, and we are truly disheartened that we are not able to open our gates to you all at this time. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support.

We would also like to clarify that, although the Canadian Snowbirds may be conducting flights in the local area, the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station has no connection to their current itinerary and is not associated with their operations at this time.

These boots were made for FOD walkin' 🚶

Airmen assigned to the 914th Air Refueling Wing take aircraft safety to the next level by performing routine Foreign Object Debris walks across the flightline.

FOD walks are a systematic inspection of areas such as ramps, runways and taxiways to identify and remove any foreign objects or debris that could pose a threat to aircraft and equipment.

Last week, our 914th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight assisted local law enforcement officers and recovered multiple grenades from a house in Niagara Falls.

We are extremely proud of our EOD Airmen for responding so quickly and assisting with this call to action!🫡

In April of 2026, three of our Airmen from the 914th Communications Squadron traveled across four different European countries to support strategic NATO network modernizations📡

Our Airmen partnered with Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE/Chièvres), as well as multiple EU allies to complete the mission
