Due to the pending storm, Saturday's Electric Light Parade and Noel at Niagara illumination event has been canceled. Supervisor Lee Wallace issued the following statement: "Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control and with the possibility of a major weather event in our area and the surrounding communities, we have no choice but to cancel this year’s Noel at Niagara Parade and lighting event. I want to sincerely thank you all for your hard work and dedication to this event. With no possibility of a make-up date, my hope is that next year’s event will be bigger and better."
Information regarding the illumination of Veteran's Memorial Community Park will follow.

Electric Light Parade is back this year along with Noel at Niagara. The parade will be held on Saturday November 19th at 7pm. Noel at Niagara lights will be displayed every night 5pm-9pm through New Years Day. For more information please read below, or call our office.

The Town of Niagara is pleased to announce our 2022 Music Mania Monday Concert Series, which begins on Monday June 27th. Below is a brief narrative of each week’s concert event:

June 27th: The 8th season of our Monday Night Music Mania Concert Series begins with Turnstiles, which is a Billy Joel Tribute from south Florida. This show features Billy Joel music from 1971 to the present and will include hit songs “The Piano Man” Uptown Girl and more. Opening band is Seventh Sign.

July 2nd: A special edition of Music Mania Monday’s is our Independence Day Celebration. This event features all-day music beginning at 2:00 PM, followed at 10:00 PM with our Independence Day Fireworks set to music. The musical line-up for this event is as follows:
2:00 PM-3:30 PM: Storm: Classic Rock
4:00 PM-5:30 PM: Out On The Tiles: Led Zeppelin Tribute
6:00 PM-7:30 PM: Grand Illusion: Styx Tribute
8:00 PM-10:00 PM: Strange Magic: ELO Tribute

July 11th: Back by popular demand is Elton Rohn, an Elton John Tribute from Ontario, Canada is one not to be missed complete with costume changes and backed by a string quartet. There will be no opening band as Elton Rohn takes the stage at 6:30 PM.

July 18th: Features Queen Nation, a Queen Tribute direct from Southern California come to us with rave reviews. Opening Band is Rock Angel.

July 25th: A return of one of our biggest draws The BBC Band, playing all your favorite Beatles Tunes. Opening band is Flipside.

August 1st: A new comer to our stage, but not to music lovers in Western NY is Strictly Hip, opening band is Meg and the Vandals.
August 8th: Chicago Authority, a Chicago Tribute not to be missed; Opening band is The USA Band.

August 15th: A fantastic doubleheader, the Yacht Fathers followed by Nerds Gone Wild

August 22nd: Escape one of the premier Journey Tribute bands from Los Angeles, California, opening act is Learn to Fly, a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Tribute.

We begin each Monday night from 6:30-7:15 PM with a local Western, NY band as an opening act followed by our headliner who takes the stage at 8:00 PM. (unless otherwise stated)

There is a wide variety of food vendors as well including, Viola’s Submarines, Soliday’s, Cowboy Popcorn, Tim Horton’s, The Town of Niagara Lion’s Club and more.
-Seating is on a first come first serve basis,
-Veterans Memorial Community Park is a smoke free venue
-Coolers are permitted but subject to be searched (No outside
alcohol permitted)
-Only service dogs permitted in the park

Please be advised of a nearby upcoming major disruption to traffic along Niagara Falls Blvd.

Intersection Closure Expected on Niagara Falls Boulevard at Erie Avenue and Shawnee Roads in North Tonawanda

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) advised motorists that the intersection of Niagara Falls Boulevard (U.S. Route 62) at Erie Avenue and Shawnee Road (State Route 425) in the City of North Tonawanda, Niagara County, will be closed to traffic beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, May 9. The closure is necessary to facilitate repairs to the railroad crossing by CSX and is expected to last three days, weather permitting.

Northbound traffic on Niagara Falls Boulevard will be directed to follow a posted detour along East Robinson Road/North French Road, Campbell Boulevard (State Route 270), Saunders Settlement Road (State Route 31) and Ward Road (State Route 429).

Southbound traffic on Niagara Falls Boulevard will be directed to follow a posted detour along Ward Road, Saunders Settlement Road, Campbell Boulevard and North French\East Robinson Road.

Northbound traffic on Shawnee Road will be directed to follow a posted detour following Niagara Falls Boulevard, East Robinson Road/North French Road, Campbell Boulevard, and Saunders Settlement Road.

Southbound traffic on Erie Avenue will be directed to follow a posted detour along Niagara Falls Boulevard and Nash Road.

Pedestrians will follow a posted detour along St. Jude Circle and Kingston Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow for extra time while traveling through this area.
