Community Day is almost here! This morning, members of the Community Day Committee and the Township's Public Works team began setting up for what is shaping up to be an amazing day.

There will be 110 craft vendors, food trucks, and tons of FREE activities, including an antiques appraisal fair, face painting, hair tinsel, build-your-own fall planters with Wedgewood Gardens, flower crafts, a guided painting workshop, raffles, a pie baking contest, pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatables, touch-a-truck, and so much more.

See you Sunday, September 13, from 10 AM to 3 PM at Arasapha Farms!

Edgmont Township’s 2026 road paving project gets underway Wednesday, September 9.

This year’s work includes portions of Canter Drive, Charter Oak Drive, Beverly Lane, Brighton Way, Carnoustie Way, and Pheasant Lane.

No on-street parking will be permitted during the work, and one lane of traffic will remain open for travel. Please use caution and allow a little extra time when traveling through these areas.

🚧 Delchester Road Closure 🚧

Dates: Monday, August 17 - Friday, August 21
Times: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Delchester Road will be closed and detoured between Gradyville Road and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) for PennDOT base repairs. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Gradyville Road, Providence Road, and Route 3 (West Chester Pike). Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas or along the detour routes because backups and delays may occur.

It was a HOT night, but everyone who came out to Edgmont Night Out had a great time!

The evening featured music, Kona Ice, games, local organizations, and plenty of opportunities for kids to see the fire trucks, explore the Main Line Health EMS ambulance, check out a Coast Guard Auxiliary patrol boat, and press buttons in Trooper Nguyen's police cruiser.

My kids especially loved using a real fire hose to knock hats off cones in the parking lot and trying the inflatable axe throwing.

A big thank you to Edgmont Township Fire Company No.1 for hosting another wonderful event, and to our friends from Rocky Run Fire Company, Middletown Fire Company, Main Line Health EMS, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Delaware County Department of Emergency Services, and the Coast Guard Auxiliary for helping make the evening such a success.

It was wonderful to see so many first responders, community organizations, and residents spending a summer evening getting to know one another. 🚒

If you've never been to Edgmont Night Out, tonight is the night to check it out!

Stop by the firehouse between 6:00 and 7:30 PM for a fun, family-friendly evening with the people who help make Edgmont such a great place to live, from our volunteer firefighters and Township staff to local organizations and businesses.

There will be games, Kona Ice, giveaways, and plenty of opportunities for kids to explore the fire trucks and other emergency vehicles.

I’ll be wearing two hats tonight, representing the Township and helping out with the Edgmont Township Historical Society. Come say hello!

It was a pleasure to help organize the Edgmont Township Historical Society's Self-Guided Historic Road Tour this weekend.

Despite the rainy weather, dozens of community members came out to explore Edgmont's historic buildings, landscapes, and stories. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying everything our township has to offer.

After the tour, participants were treated to free water ice and pretzels as part of Edgmont Township's America250 celebration, adding a festive ending to a great day.

A heartfelt thank you to the many volunteers, property owners, community partners, and Edgmont staff members whose time and enthusiasm made both of Saturday's events possible.

One of the things I enjoy most about serving our community is helping bring people together while celebrating what makes Edgmont such a special place. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the day such a success!
