DETCOG is pleased to announce the initiation of application intake for families displaced due to flooding in areas where a county or state declaration has been made.

"We understand the urgency of the situation and are committed to providing swift assistance to those in need," said Lonnie Hunt, Executive Director at DETCOG. "Our collaboration with local authorities and community centers underscores our dedication to supporting affected families during this challenging time."

DETCOG will be actively engaging with communities, efforts will extend to other severely impacted counties, including Newton, Hardin, Shelby, and Tyler counties, on the following dates:

- May 2, 2024 – Newton

- May 3, 2024 – Hardin

- May 6, 2024 – Tyler County, Nutrition Center - 201 Veterans Way, Woodville, Texas 75979 - Behind McClure's Furniture Store
