๐ŸŒŸ Employee Spotlight โ€“ Sandy Dhom ๐ŸŒŸ

This month, weโ€™re proud to recognize Sandy from the Newton Police Department!

With 13 years of dedicated service as an Administrative Assistant, Sandy plays a key role in keeping things running smoothly. She answers both the telephone and radio, assists with computer issues, prepares reports and has a sharp eye for reviewing reports. Her attention to detail and commitment make her invaluable in clerical work, and sheโ€™s especially appreciated for helping provide help to residentsโ€”particularly children.

Outside of work, Sandy enjoys reading, playing cards, quilting, cheering on ice hockey (especially the Evansville Thunderbolts), and traveling.

Thank you, Sandy, for your years of service and the positive impact you make every day!

This week, with the help of all our departments working together, the Street Department poured a new stretch of concrete as the first step in repairing a rough section of roadway. Projects like this take teamwork, coordination, and a lot of hard work behind the scenes.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for their time, effort, and dedication to improving our streets and keeping our community safe. We appreciate all the departments for lending a hand.
