CCI Redi-Mix is our Chamber Business of the Month!

With nine convenient locations, more than 100 trucks and two portable plants, CCI Redi-Mix is equipped to serve residential, commercial and public projects throughout Central Illinois. Here in Newton the company is led by local manager Michael Rogers and his hardworking crew. They provide quality concrete and dependable service while always being willing to go the extra mile not only for their customers, but for our entire community.

While I was visiting, a community member stopped in and asked if he could add a few buckets of broken concrete to their pile. Of course they said yes, and then that concrete gets recycled!
It was such a simple moment but a great example of the friendly, helpful service you find at CCI and in our hometown.

CCI Redi-Mix truly helps build Jasper County in more ways than one and we’re proud to recognize them as our Business of the Month!

🚧ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – SOUTH LAFAYETTE 🚧

The City of Newton Street Department will be replacing a bridge in the 400 block of South Lafayette Street.

Beginning this morning and continuing through next week. The section of roadway will be closed to all through traffic. Access will be limited to local traffic only while the work is being completed.

Please plan alternate routes and use caution when traveling near the construction area. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work to improve this infrastructure.

If you've driven by the Sarah Bush Lincoln Newton Clinic on the West edge of town recently you might have noticed a new addition to their property 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
A beautiful new flagpole and it got its first flag with a with a little help from proud Vietnam Veteran, Jim Myers.
