This club has been 3 years in the making! With a core group of like-minded individuals, we struck out to open an establishment where we can go to hang out, smoke a cigar, start up a card game, shoot pool, watch the game....basically, we were looking to open a members only Social Club. And one of our biggest requirements for the club- nearly unlimited access with no worries of an establishment's cl
osing time!! After numerous setbacks, we were able to find a large enough space, with a landlord that was just as excited to help us reach our dream. Our club consists of four different sections: the main lounge, a game room, a kitchen and a quiet room. The main lounge consists of a large TV viewing area with leather reclining sofas, a secondary TV viewing area with two large leather couches and a wet bar for fixing refreshments. This room is the largest and is where we will be hosting movie nights and viewing parties for big events, like the Super Bowl on our big screen with surround sound! The game room has a pool table, dart board, dominoes table and card tables. We will likely be holding weekly or monthly tournaments, based on member requests on any of these, so practice you skills!! The kitchen will be set up for club parties and functions. Members will also be able to use these facilities while enjoying their time at the Club to fix a lunch or a snack! With grocery stores just minutes down the road, you'll have what you need to make your meal!! The quiet room has a comfortable sitting area, as well as a conference table. If you want to kick back with the newspaper or book, or need a quiet spot to work on your computer, you'll have it in the quiet room! There is a small group of individuals that are considered the Founding Members. These are the Members that have been with us from the beginning and have put in a lot of time and effort, as well as money to get this Club operational. After the LLC was formed, these Members purchased shares into the LLC and are Shareholders of the Club. By reaching out to others that were looking to have a Club to call their own, further shares were sold. Currently, there are only 20 Shareholders allowed (very few spots remain) in the LLC that are governed by By-Laws. Each Shareholder is able to purchase a maximum of 2 shares. Our Shareholders, which include the Founding Members, are fully responsible for all activities of the Club, to include membership, events and any other activity necessary for the enjoyment of the Club. Members who have interest in the success of the Club may present ideas and suggestions to the Shareholders at any time, with the decision being made by a majority vote of Shareholders present at a Shareholder meeting.
