🎉 YEAR SIX — HERE WE GO! 🎉

We are so excited to officially kick off our 6th year of Prevention Education! 💙

For the past six years, Heart to Heart Child Advocacy Center has had the privilege of going into Newton and Hesston schools to give children something incredibly important: knowledge, confidence, and a voice.

Our prevention program helps children learn about body safety, safe and unsafe situations, trusted adults, boundaries, and most importantly — that they have the right to speak up when something doesn't feel right.

Because preventing child abuse isn't just about responding AFTER something happens. It is also about giving children the tools they need BEFORE it ever does and we are so excited to be a part of it.

Here's to Year 6 — more classrooms, more conversations, more empowered kids, and one very important mission:

Great reminders and tips for adults as kids are getting ready to head back to school!

When a child discloses abuse, the first response matters. Listen calmly, don’t pressure them for details, reassure them it is not their fault, and avoid agreeing to keep it secret.

This post is a reminder that children need safety, privacy, and adults who will respond appropriately. If a child tells you something harmful is happening, contact the proper authorities and make sure they know they are not alone.

We're at Hope Fest Harvey County at the Newton Recreation Center today 10am until 1pm. Lots of great community resources here, a bike rodeo, fire trucks and lunch!!!

O McPherson did we have fun today! It might have been hot but the snow cones and drinks served by B's Tropical Sno and Pink Cart helped keep us cool😎

We just want to say thanks to our community resources and those who stopped by to visit with them! We're already planning next year's event, so if your interested in participating send us a message!

We'll be joined by a variety of local agencies offering interactive safety demonstrations, hands-on activities, and resources for the whole family.
