🔥 We have so much to celebrate at Catawba County Schools! Our students and staff are IGNITING growth across the district!

🎉 89% of our schools met or exceeded growth

🎉 8 schools exceeded growth—4 elementary, 2 middle, and 2 high schools

🎉 25 of 27 schools increased proficiency

🎉 All 5 middle schools increased proficiency

🎉 All 6 high schools increased proficiency

🎉 CCS achieved 61% overall proficiency, compared with 59% statewide

🎉 Our graduation rate reached 91.8%, exceeding the state rate of 88.8%

We are incredibly proud of our students, teachers, staff, families, and community for helping fuel this growth. Together, we are IGNITING a brighter future for every student!

North Carolina public school students marked another year of academic progress in 2025-26, achieving a record-high graduation rate and improving performance on most standardized tests, according to data presented Wednesday morning to the State Board of Education.
