Love Must Win is honored to have had Joshua Kayes serve as Love Must Win’s Executive Director from April 2021 until November 2022. Joshua’s dedication, authenticity, and LOVE made him the ideal leader for the organization. His kindness and heart-centered leadership created and fostered much growth and positive change within the organization and within the community we serve. The world is a better place because of him and his work.
We will genuinely miss him and his presence within the organization. Though, we know we will be in multiple collaborations in the future and never truly be without his loving presence. We want to honor his journey and time with the organization. With this news, we are seeking a new Executive Director for the organization. As we gratefully acknowledge Joshua’s time with the organization, we would love the opportunity for someone to step into this role that has the same amount of love Joshua gave to it over the years.
Love Must Win, Inc was established in 2015 and is centered around providing a safe haven for all by creating and amplifying safe spaces focused on love, acceptance, and kindness. Programming includes: LGBTQ+ addiction/recovery-based services, spiritual-based programs, arts-based programs, LGBTQ+ youth-based programs, Hearts and Hugs Project, and additional community programs. Executive Director Search
Love Must Win, Inc is searching for a committed and heart-centered leader for the Executive Director position within the organization. This is a volunteer-based position.
Current Passions:
• Dedication to self-growth and growth within the communities we serve
• Advocate for LOVE, self-love, self-acceptance, and kindness
• Community-driven mindset and aspirations
Requirements desired:
• Minimally available 5-10 hours per week
• Board of Directors experience and exceptional communication skills
• A desire to create and implement community programs on the ground-level
• Lead a board of 10+ members
• Attend and facilitate monthly board meetings
• Develop, implement and provide oversight of innovative programming that positively impacts and supports the LGBTQ+ community
• Engage and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations
• Experience with fundraising
• Experience with event planning and ex*****on
