Vermillion County Public Library's mission is to provide patrons access to a wide range of materials, services, applications, and programs to inform, educate & entertain. VCPL serves Eugene, Helt, Highland, and Vermillion townships in Vermillion County, Indiana. VCPL offers traditional collections including fiction and non-fiction books for all ages, CD audiobooks, DVDs, and graphic novels. We als

o have special collections featuring: Playaways, Tonie Boxes with characters, and Nintendo Switch games. We have a variety of programming each month from babies to adults including:
- storytime on Wednesday and Thursday mornings
- Thursday after school programs including crafts, movies, game nights, and more
- a Summer Reading program for all ages
- BINGO and Book Club for adults
- special programs like family holiday events, fun kids activities during spring/fall break, arts and crafts programs/classes for different age groups, and more

We are a part of the Evergreen Consortium which allows libraries throughout the state to share materials, so if we don't have it, we can order it from another Evergreen library for you. You can also use your Evergreen library card from us at any Evergreen library. We also have a wide variety of other services available: meeting rooms with up-to-date technology, full kitchen with stove and refrigerator, gymnasium - all available to rent - as well as quiet spaces for study or work, printing, copying, and faxing; as well as notary and genealogy services. Our staff is very helpful and glad to answer any questions you may have!
