Retired Executive Director David Huntington stopped by the office to visit his old staff and we snapped a picture of him in front of a grant prop that was presented to the CDC on November 7th when the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund donated $5,000 to the CDC for the trash compactor project at the Ridge. David was the Executive Director when all the the grant fund requests were written. The trash compactor will be installed on December 2nd. The funding for the project was a collaborative effort with the Siletz Tribal Charitable Fund, the Lincoln County County Commissioners Economic Development Funds and the City of Lincoln City Non Profit funds all used and contributing to the project.

We are sending out a request for volunteers who would be willing to help with the warming shelter in Lincoln City. This cold weather hit much quicker than anticipated and though it is warming up according the weather report, help is needed to be prepared for the next onslaught. If you think you may be interested in helping, please call 541-574-0320 and ask for Dave Galati. Please share with your FB friends to spread the word.
