Rhonda Deeg, artisan extraordinaire, owner of RLD Glass Art & Restoration, LLC., and long-time supporter of NKY Restoration, can't be with us this year due to a scheduling conflict. We thank her for her sponsorship and look forward to seeing her in the future. Her restoration and design work are incredible, but she also has a passion for teaching. https://preservationrho.wixsite.com/rld-glass-art/about

Don't forget to register for NKY Restoration on Saturday, April 25th.

Happy Earth Day!
We appreciate this quote from former president of AIA, Carl Elefante: “The greenest building is the one that is already built.” Retrofitting historic buildings is more sustainable than new construction.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Kentucky Heritage Council – SHPO for their leadership, collaboration, and generous support of this event through the Covington/Newport Certified Local Government (CLG) Grant. Their partnership truly helps make this gathering possible.

This year, we’re especially excited to welcome even more of their team as presenters and participants. You’ll also spot them at the Taste and Talk vendor fair — a perfect chance to meet them, ask questions, and discover the fantastic work they’re doing across the Commonwealth.

Be sure to stop by and say hello. You won’t want to miss them.

Looking to build an addition or restore your porch? Our sponsor, Will from Shottelkotte Design Build, brings new life to our historic fabric. We wish we had the before photos of this porch when it was constructed out of two by fours. Through walks through the neighborhood, he found examples of original porch designs on similar houses to come up with this beauty.
