Slope Mower/Light Equipment Operator – Seasonal
(May until the end of October 31, 2025

The City of Newport is seeking applications for a part-time seasonal Slope Mower/Light Equipment Operator. This person performs a variety of skilled and unskilled tasks including operating slope mower, trash collecting, patching, street sign replacement and repairs, and any other duties that are performed daily in the department. Work hours will be Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and pay will be $19.45 Hr.
Application and job description may be picked up at the Newport City Hall or found on the City of Newport website. The deadline for applications will be June 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. All applications must be turned into Missy at Newport City Hall, 300 East Main Street, Newport TN 37821. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.
