Thompson's Sanitary has added NEW materials to our recycling depot!

✅ Textiles: at least 50% cotton t-shirts, towels, & sheets with minimal stains.
✅ Plastic Film: Grocery & bread bags, product wrap, air pillows used for shipping, bubble wrap, and food storage bags.
✅ Shredded Paper: Must be contained in paper bag stapled shut
✅ Plastic Clamshell Containers: #1 PETE or PET only
✅ Light Bulbs - CFL's, LED, Incandescent/Halogen $1/piece; Fluorescent Tubes $.25/foot

Thank you to Republic Services for hosting Oregon State University's Sustainability and Business Club on a tour of Pacific Region Compost outside Corvallis. The club is led by OSU Business Analytics and Sustainability Junior Piper Thompson, daughter of TSS owners Rob and Aimee Thompson. These future leaders frequently tour Oregon businesses and host speakers to learn about their work in sustainability.
