As part of Naval Academy Preparatory School Parents' Weekend events United States Naval Academy Parachute Team dropped in on the installation today. Aviation support was provided by Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 772 (HMH-772), flying a CH-53E Super Stallion. The parachute team landed on Nimitz Field in front a few hundred spectators ahead of the NAPS Pass In Review.

The facility's refrigeration and freezer systems have been restored. While the commissary remains open for patrons, please note many items will not be in stock due the previous outage. The store anticipates deliveries on Monday and Wednesday which will replenish much of what was lost. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
