This is your friendly reminder that we will be participating in the National Takeback this Saturday, April 25th at our local Walmart Newport - Cosby Hwy from 10am-2pm. We will have a take back station set up to the front of the store between the entrances. Bring by your expired and unused medication for safe disposal 💊

Items not permitted for collection:

Illegal drugs/paraphernalia
Syringes/needles
Items used to collect blood
Diabetic materials (such as lancets and auto injectors)

Community outreach continues to be a major priority for our department. Building strong relationships with our community helps us better serve, support, and connect with those we are here to protect.

We're excited to share that we will be working with Keith May from LAW Publications, who will be reaching out to local businesses in the coming days. His goal is to partner with sponsors to help provide important awareness materials that benefit our community.
