🌲 What is Forestland Grazing & Silvopasture?

Many properties in Pend Oreille County have a mix of forest and open land—but those forests may be underutilized.
Two approaches gaining interest are:
🌲 Forestland Grazing – using existing forested areas for livestock to expand grazing and reduce fuels
🌱 Silvopasture – intentionally managing trees, forage, and livestock together for productivity and resilience
