Policy Coverage: Applies to all cell phones, smartwatches, smart glasses, or any other communication or internet-capable devices.

Instructional Hours Requirement: During the entire school day, all personal devices must be:

ATTENTION KJES FAMILIES! 🚌📦

End-of-Day Transportation & Pick-Up Changes

To ensure all of our students arrive home safely and properly every day, please carefully follow our pick-up policy:

*Call the Main Office Directly (757-888-3320, Option 5)
Please notify the main office by phone for any last-minute changes to your child's end-of-day dismissal plans.

*Early Pick-Up Ends at 3:30 PM
Early parent pick-up ends promptly at 3:30 PM. For any updates or pick-ups after 3:30 PM, please call the main office to have your student sent down, and then join the standard parent pick-up line.

*Please Try To Avoid Emailing Teachers for Dismissal Changes
Our teachers are actively instructing students throughout the school day and may not be able to check their email in time to process dismissal updates.

It’s Parent Pick-up Sign Up Time!

Families, if you plan on picking your child up through the car lane every day after school, please use the QR code to pre-register for a car tag. If you will only occasionally be picking your child up for appointments, the first day only or the first week only, you do not need a car tag.

If you pre-register through the link, come to the gym to receive your car tags from the parent pickup table during OPEN HOUSE. If you are unsure about needing one, please see a team member in the gym during OPEN HOUSE to discuss your needs. You may also sign up at the table in person.
