It’s almost time for soccer and track tryouts. Tuesday September 8th will be the first day of tryouts for boys and girls soccer and track. As a reminder, if they do not have a VHSL physical turned in, they cannot stay for tryouts. Please make sure to have the proper gear for tryouts. This includes tennis shoes, cleats( if you have some),appropriate shorts or sweats, water bottle, and a shirt. Bus transportation will be provided. If you are planning on picking your child up, please be at the school no later than 4:50. We look forward to seeing our athletes on Tuesday.

Our lunchtime Virginia Reader's Choice club gives students a fantastic opportunity to gather with friends, discover exciting new books, and share their love of reading! If your child is interested, talk with them about signing up in the library next week.

*Battle of the Books*
Fuel your child's love for reading and watch their reading stamina, vocabulary, and teamwork skills skyrocket with this year's Battle of the Books Competition Team! If your reader is up for the challenge, they may pick up a permission slip in the library to join the fun and represent our school.
