We’re proud that CIELO’s Executive Director, Iosefa Alofaituli, and Lucy Báez, a CIELO client and Childcare Incubator graduate, participated in the recent Family Foundation Alliance event, “The Workforce Behind the Workforce: Childcare as a Catalyst for Economic Growth,” hosted by the Orange County Community Foundation. 🤩

Lucy shared her journey from navigating challenges as a single mother to becoming a licensed childcare business owner with CIELO’s support. Her story highlights why investing in childcare providers is essential to expanding access and creating economic opportunities for families.

Thank you to First 5 Orange County for highlighting the region’s childcare shortage, and to OCCF and the Family Foundation Alliance for bringing community partners and funders together to advance solutions! 🫶
