Today was all about celebrating our students and reminding everyone about the importance of coming to school every day! 📚❤️

And what better way to celebrate than with a little FUN in the sun?! ☀️💦

Our students had a blast tossing water balloons at Principal Mrs. Cope, Mr. Joel, and Ms. Griselda! 😂🎈💦

🛡️ STOPit: A Resource That Continues to Support Our Students

At Newman-Crows Landing Unified School District, we are excited to continue offering STOPit as an important resource to help keep our students and school communities safe, supportive, and connected.

STOPit provides students with a simple and confidential way to speak up when they see or experience something that concerns them. Through the STOPit app or web-based platform, students can:

📱 Report concerns anonymously, including bullying, cyberbullying, inappropriate behavior, safety concerns, and other issues.

💬 Messenger allows students to have an anonymous, two-way conversation with designated school contacts who can follow up and provide support.

Students can use STOPit to ask for help for themselves or a friend, report something they have witnessed, or share concerns before they escalate. The platform can also allow students to submit photos or videos as part of a report.

We believe every student should feel safe, heard, and supported. By continuing to provide STOPit, we are giving our students another way to stand up for themselves and one another.

Our district is excited to celebrate our 17th Annual Dig Pink Event on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Orestimba High School! 🎀

For 17 years, our students, staff, families, and community have come together to support an incredible cause. Together, our district has donated more than $138,000 to the Side-Out Foundation and has been recognized as the #1 California school for donations for the past several years! 💗🙌

And on October 5… WE’RE TURNING OUR DISTRICT PINK! 💕🎀
