CRI Foster Care & Adoption

CRI Foster Care & Adoption CRI trains & supports Therapeutic Foster & Adoptive Parents in CT, who in turn care for their high-need foster and pre-adoptive children.

CRI Foster Care & Adoption is always looking for caring, dedicated families to open their homes to foster children! CRI's foster and adoptive parents provide care for children in Connecticut's child welfare system. We work with the Connecticut Department of Children and Families to place children ages 6 and older in our foster homes and support those homes with CRI staff.

This past Friday, one of our foster kiddos had to move abruptly and he had barely any basic needs. Foster Parent was not expecting a new child to come into her home, state takes awhile to get everything approved for a voucher, and us nonprofit are given 0 funds to assist in situations like these.

After literally minutes after posting of this station in several pages, people we started to help out non stop. One person left work, ran to kohl's, super shopped, then hand- delivered a bag full of brand new clothes and necessities at 5pm on Friday night.

There is SO much good in this world and this child lost so much but also gained so much love from people he will never likely to meet in his lifetime. This is love...when you don't expect anything in return....and just GIVE.

Thank you to everyone who became our village🙏💓 fast forward to today at 2 pm, several of the shipments have arrived to our office. He got several pair of brand new sneakers, a few backpacks, so many shorts and sweats, endless shirts and socks and briefs, 3 winter coats, several hoodies, and more on its way from California and other places!

We are SO EXCITED to presenr our first non profit agency's "Fostering Hope Shop!"

In an effort to raise awareness, funds, and spread the love of our foster care department, our agency will start a little shop to sell t-shirts, hoodies (both pull-over and zip-up available (lightly fleece lined), tank tops, baby/kids' (I mean HOW cute--see pic!) sizes and even distressed hats--yassss)!

100% of the profit will go to the foster kids in our department. As mentioned before, we have 0--ZERO--funds given to celebrate these kiddos the way they truly deserve to be.

But we won' let this stop us💪. Rather, it FUELS us to think outside the box to recruit foster parents and make partnerships with our community, as well as finding ways to recognize our kiddos in every special way that we can.

Please text or call @413.218.6425 or email me @ [email protected] or [email protected] with any questions and orders!

Thank you for your ongoing support 🙏 🤲

July is Disability Pride Month! It is a time to show ALL of our beauty and unapologetically celebrate our bodies as they are. This is so important for providers and care givers to be aware, especially for our foster kids in care who may not had a voice or choice in their lives. Let's all come together to increase awareness and to celebrate them as they are💗💪👏

July is Disability Pride Month — a time for all disabled people to unapologetically celebrate our bodies as they are. Whether you are disabled or an ally, Disability Pride Month is full of so much to celebrate.
