As we get ready for tonight’s rivalry game, we’re asking our families and community to help us set the tone for an exciting night of friendly competition, school spirit and exceptional sportsmanship.

Please take a moment to read the letter from Dr. Walker below and talk with your students about the expectations for tonight’s game and the importance of representing themselves, their families and Newcastle Public Schools with pride, both online and in the stands.

We appreciate our parents and community working with us to make tonight a great experience for our everyone. Let’s keep the focus on supporting our Racers and enjoying the game.

If you've driven by the high school at night in the past couple of weeks, you may have noticed the front of the new addition now has signage!

We are getting SO close to completing this project and can't wait to show you the improvements we've made soon!

We have been made aware of an anonymous social media post containing a vague threat against our school district.

We have been in contact with the Newcastle Police Department and we are not making any changes to our school schedule at this time. All schools will continue to follow our established safety and security procedures. If something changes, we will send out additional information as quickly as possible.

We understand that information involving a possible threat can be concerning for families. Please know that the safety of our students remains our top priority and we appreciate your cooperation as we monitor the situation.

Please talk with your student about the serious nature of threats, as well as his or her concerns or fears about the situation. If you have any questions about the school’s response or the plan for tomorrow, please contact the school or counselor’s office for assistance. Finally, we want to thank the students who reported this as we always encourage them to adhere to the “see something, say something” model. Students can always safely report via the STOP IT app which can be accessed on the district web page at https://www.newcastle.k12.ok.us/STOPit.aspx

Friendly reminder that there is no school this Friday!

FOOTBALL IS BACK!

We may not have gotten the W over the weekend, but our boys made us proud and kept the energy up for the whole game.

As our community continues to grow, we are constantly looking at ways to improve our facilities so that our students have the resources they need to grow and refine their skills.

With this in mind, our Athletic Director has started a capital campaign to raise funds to upgrade our athletic facilities.
