We’re searching high and low for businesses, organizations, churches, clubs, and community groups ready to BOO-th with us at Haunt the Park!

Set up a booth, decorate it, bring plenty of candy, and help us give Newcastle families a great Halloween night at Veterans Park. 🎃🍬

There’s no cost to participate — we just need you, your crew, and enough candy for a whole lot of trick-or-treaters!

Haunt the Park returns to Veterans Park on Saturday, October 24, and this year, The Gathering of Ghosts is taking over the park!

We’re bringing Newcastle together for an evening of trick-or-treating, games, activities and Halloween fun — all FREE for families.

💦 GOOD NEWS — THE NEWCASTLE SPLASHPAD IS STILL OPEN! ☀️

Summer isn’t over just yet! There’s still time to cool off, make a few more memories, and enjoy the Newcastle Splashpad before we close it down for the season.

📅 Last Day: Monday, September 7
💦 The Splashpad will remain open through the end of the day.

🔧 Beginning Tuesday, September 8, our Parks crew will start the process of shutting down and winterizing the Splashpad for the season.
