The Great Old Book Sale is almost here!

Book donations will be accepted:
Saturday, March 16: 9:30 am-4:30 pm
Monday, March 18: 9:30 am-8:30 pm
Tuesday, March 19: 9:30 am-2:30 pm

No media, textbooks or magazine donations will be accepted. Maximum of eight boxes, please.

The Sale will be held March 21st through March 23rd, with a special Member Sale for Friends of the NPL on Wednesday, March 20th.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Newburyport Public Library. Proceeds will benefit the Newburyport Public Library collections and programs. Volunteers are always welcome. Sign up to help at: newburyportfol.org

Join the International Women's Air & Space Museum as we explore the role of women in aviation and aerospace. Participants will learn about their accomplishments, obstacles, and their enduring legacy in all areas of aviation and aerospace. From the first woman to solo a balloon in the 18th century to Bessie Coleman's dream to establish a flight school to the women who briefly called the International Space Station home, this program provides a glimpse into lesser known histories. ✈️

Join us for the 45th Great Old Book Sale organized by The Friends of the Public Library! Proceeds will benefit the Newburyport Public Library collections and programs.

We will accept donations of hardcover, paperback and audio books* on:
Saturday, March 16 9:30am- 4:30pm
Monday, March 18 9:30am- 7:30pm
Tuesday, March 19 9:30pm- 2:30pm
*8 box limit. Please bring donations in through the front door.

There will be a Friends of the Library Members' Sale on Wednesday, March 20 2-8pm. Memberships will be available starting at noon that day.

The general sale will take place:
Thursday, March 21, 9:30am- 7:30pm
Friday, March 22, 9:30am- 4:30pm
Saturday, March 23 9:30am- 2:30pm
