The members of Newburyport Firefighters Local 827 mourns the tragic loss of Boston Firefighter Robert “BK” Kilduff Jr., who died last night following injuries sustained during a 3rd alarm fire.

Our deepest condolences go out to BK’s family and our brothers and sisters at Boston Firefighters Local 718.

A Marine veteran and 24-year veteran of the Boston Fire Department, Bobby was a fierce advocate for his brothers and sisters in the fire service. We praise his incredible dedication, bravery, and sacrifice.

Rest easy, Brother.

The members of Newburyport Firefighters Local 827 send our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Massachusetts State Trooper Kevin Trainor, who tragically killed this morning.

We stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the Massachusetts State Police during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who knew and loved Trooper Trainor. May he rest in peace.

Ten years.

Today, we pause to remember our brother, Tony Raven.

Tony was more than a firefighter — he was a brother, a mentor, a father, a husband, a friend and a steady presence both on and off the job. Known for his big heart and quiet strength, he left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege to serve alongside him.

Ten years later, his legacy continues to live on at NFD…..from the fireboat that proudly displays his name….to his son, Firefighter Matt Raven, carrying on his dads dedication to service.

We miss Tony everyday.

We will never forget.

Nick Spinale, 28, and member of Chelmsford Local 1839 for two and a half years, was injured on Tuesday morning during the performance of his duties, training other firefighters. Nick fell approximately 40 feet from a window and sustained multiple serious injuries, including facial fractures, severe internal organ damage, and fractures to both wrists. He faces a long road to recovery, including several surgeries to fix his injuries.
