Today, we pause to remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001 including the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We honor the courage of every firefighter, police officer, first responder, service member, and ordinary citizen who ran toward danger to help others. We also remember those who continue to suffer from illnesses caused by their service at Ground Zero.

May we never forget their bravery, their sacrifice, and the unity our nation showed in the days that followed.

At 10:10 hours we were dispatched for a automatic alarm on Dan Leghorn Engine Company Orange Lake side of the district.

At 12:15 hours we were dispatched to a commercial restaurant for a automatic alarm on our side of the district.

At 16:34 hours we were dispatched to a multiple car accident on our side of the district on route 52. (PICTURED)

At 20:40 hours we were dispatched to a automatic alarm on Orange lakes side of the district.

At 14:35 hours we were dispatched to a tractor trailer hitting a pole, with wires down and a transformer on fire on route 52. (PICTURED)

Happy to finally say that our epoxy floor project is now complete! Special thanks to The Board of Fire Commissioners and Finishing Touch Painting for a job well done.

On 8/21/26 our members have been extremely busy.

At 04:28 (PICTURED) we were dispatched to a 2 car MVA head on, on route 17k. Car 1,2 Rescue 323 and 324 responded.

At 05:20 we were dispatched to a outside fire at one of our commercial hotels off of route 300, crew responded from the first incident and extinguished.

At 09:42 we were dispatched to a automatic alarm at a warehouse off of route 300. Car 3 and 324 responded along with Dan Leghorn Engine Company Orange Lake

At 1206 we were dispatched to a automatic alarm on Orange Lakes side of the district. Car 3 and Engine 320 responded.

Early this morning at approximately 03:46 a.m., our department was dispatched on mutual aid with an engine to provide station coverage for a reported structure fire in the Coldenham Fire District. While en route to stand by at our own quarters, we were redirected to the scene to assist.

This was far more than just another fire call it was the headquarters of one of our neighboring fire departments. Our thoughts are with the members of the Coldenham Fire-Rescue as they work through this difficult time. We stand with our brothers and sisters and are ready to support them in any way we can.
