Whether you are running ultra marathons or just starting your running journey, there is a place for you with the 105th AW’s running group!

In light of the United States Air Force changing PT standards, TSgt Timothy Kosteczko established a private running group for Airmen of the 105th AW! He brings his wealth of running knowledge to group runs on base, while through the group’s app Airmen can push each other and support one another along their journeys.

Bonjour, good day 🇫🇷 🇺🇸 & Happy Flightline Friday!

The flightline looked a little different for a few days this week, as the 105th welcomed the Patrouille de France into the U.S. and NY for the start of their Liberty 250 mission.🗽

The French Air and Space Force demo team will be touring parts of the U.S. for a month long celebration in honor of our 250th birthday and the alliance our nations have shared since the beginning! The teams 11 Alpha jets and two A400s stopped here as they started their mission with flyovers of West Point and the Statue of Liberty.

Our Airmen were still hard at work with our C-17 fleet, ensuring they are mission ready in support of our global and domestic airlift mission.

Great work, team 👊✈️

June drill may have been a hot one, but the 105th brought the real heat. 🔥

The Patrouille de France 🇫🇷 landed at the 105th, kicking off a month long 4th of July honoring American and French alliance!

This weekend, we celebrated the careers of seven outstanding Airmen, wishing them well in their retirements.

The 105th Civil Engineer Squadron celebrated a change of command, saying good bye to one commander and welcoming another!

Finally, Airmen trained and honed their skills in their craft, staying ready to support the 105th’s mission!

Last week, Airmen from the 105th Medical Group 🚑 participated in a joint exercise with Airmen and Soldiers from the New York Army National Guard - testing their skills and readiness for CBRN related incidents ☢️

Part of the FEMA Region II CBRN Task Force, our Medics practiced search and extraction of victims, treating patients injuries and more. Across the multi-day exercise NY National Guard Airmen and Soldiers worked together to sharpen critical mission skills.

Shoutout to the 105th Communications Squadron for keeping the lines open and providing critical internet capabilities for the medics to get their job done!

Brigadier General Dannemann, commander of the 105th AW, and Colonel Piccolo, commander of the 105th MDG, who observed firsthand how our Airmen operate in demanding field environments.

Great job team 👏
