Newaygo County Kids' Day Completely Free! The Newaygo County Kids’ Day is an event free of charge to all who attend.

Annual Event hosted by the River Country Chamber & Newaygo Police Department to provide a non-threatening environment to introduce kids to law enforcement, fire, rescue and other support agencies. Highlights of the day include free food, games, raffle prizes, arts & crafts and Certified Technicians will also be available for Child Seat Safety Checks. Technicians will check for proper installation,

fit and also have the seat checked for other safety issues. This event is hosted by various support agencies, Police, Fire, Rescue, Churches and Businesses throughout the Newaygo County area. This free, family-friendly event offers an afternoon filled with fun activities, including games, arts & crafts, raffle prizes, and more. Kids aged 18 and under can enjoy a complimentary lunch. 

Meet our local heroes—law enforcement, firefighters, and rescue teams—and explore emergency vehicles. Don’t miss out on exciting attractions like bounce slides, foam parties, face painting, and interactive booths from community organizations.
