For the rest of June, the high school is closed due to construction. Mrs. Dietz and Mr. Smith will be working at Newaygo Middle School for the rest of June.

Students needing work permits can get them from Newaygo Middle School until June 25. After that, they will be available at
the Administration Building, located at 360 S Mill St.

The final bell has rung for students but not for Newaygo Food Service. Our team will seamlessly transition into our Summer Food Service Program. There will be two bulk distribution sites running simultaneously this year. Hunger doesn't take a summer vacation, and neither does our commitment. Our First Summer Meal Distribution is June 10, 2026!
That is next Wednesday!

Please come join us for our 2nd Annual Basketball School in July! This year, we will be at the high school gymnasium. We will run three days: July 20, 22, and 24! Times will be 9 AM to 10:30 AM for boys AND GIRLS going into K - 4th Grade. We will have a second session to follow at 11 AM to 12:30 PM for BOYS ONLY entering grades 5 - 8. Congratulations to Boys Golf Coach Zenn Timmer!

We are proud to announce that Coach Zenn Timmer has been selected as the Regional Coach of the Year!

What makes this honor especially meaningful is that it is chosen by his fellow coaches and peers, recognizing the respect he has earned throughout the region for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to the sport.

Thank you, Coach Timmer, for the countless hours, hard work, and passion you pour into the Newaygo golf program and for the positive impact you have on our student-athletes every day. Your commitment to helping young people grow both on and off the course does not go unnoticed.

📚✏️ FINAL EXAMS ARE HERE! ✏️📚

The finish line is in sight, and our students are preparing to finish the year strong! 💪

Semester exams will take place on Thursday and Friday, and we encourage all students and families to review the exam schedule carefully. The schedule can be found in the attached image.

A few reminders:
✅ Get a good night's sleep
✅ Charge your Chromebook
✅ Arrive on time
✅ Come prepared and do your best

We are proud of the hard work our students have put in all year long and can't wait to celebrate a successful finish to another great school year!
