Davionna Phillips recaps her experience as a Newark resident working as a Production Assistant on the set of Power Origins last week. 🎬

Davionna Phillips-

“I had a blast and loved every minute—even the quiet moments on set. Getting the call to be a PA on a Lionsgate Studio TV production in my city, Newark, shot a scene right in Branch Brook Park, marked an incredible career milestone, moving from film school and indie work projects into the heart of a major studio production. I assisted the Locations/ Unit PA crew, working alongside seasoned union professionals and A-list talent, which showed me that thriving in this industry is about productivity, curiosity, and building genuine connections. Valuing the team’s support makes the 12-hour+ day worthwhile until we all hear the Director and AD call out “that’s a wrap!”"
