This Pride Month, ECFJC proudly recognizes the strength, resilience, and contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals throughout our community.

We also acknowledge the unique barriers many LGBTQ+ survivors face when seeking safety, support, and justice. By raising awareness, promoting inclusive services, and fostering understanding, we can help ensure that every survivor feels seen, supported, and empowered.

At ECFJC, we remain committed to creating a community where safety, healing, and justice belong to everyone.

Happy Pride Month. 🌈💜

We are incredibly grateful to the Jewish Women's Foundation of New Jersey for their support of the Essex County Family Justice Center and our mission to serve survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, elder abuse, and stalking.

Partnerships like this help ensure that survivors and their families can access the safety, support, advocacy, and resources they need on their journey toward healing and empowerment.

Thank you, Jewish Women's Foundation of New Jersey, for investing in our community and helping us create a future where every survivor is seen, supported, and empowered.

This movement started after a court ruling that blamed a survivor’s jeans for her assault.

People around the world responded by wearing denim to challenge that thinking, and to make one thing clear that, Clothing is never consent.

That message still matters. Because victim-blaming still exists. Because survivors are still questioned. Because too many people still stay silent.

At ECFJC, we see what happens when survivors are met with the opposite: support, protection, and people who believe them.

Meet the team behind all this work!

April 29 💜 Wear denim with intention. Stand with survivors.

Through our 2026 Spring Campaign, your support turns into immediate impact

We’re working toward our $15,000 goal, and we’re not there yet.

$25 helps us respond immediately.
$100 helps us sit down and figure out a safe next step.
$250 gives someone space to talk and be supported.
$500 can help someone leave a situation that isn’t safe.

If you’ve ever wondered whether your donation actually does anything… this is it.

Essex County Family Justice Center started with one goal: to make support accessible for survivors, and that’s still what drives everything today.

During Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we’re reflecting on how far this work has come and the thousands of lives that have been supported along the way.

Our Spring Appeal is here, and your support helps make this possible.

Make a gift and be part of what keeps this going 💜
