The September edition of W**d it & Reap is now available! Click on the link below to read. This month we will be highlighting a Wayne County favorite, the humble apple. 🍎As most of our readers know, Wayne County produces a LOT of apples; third largest apple producing county in the country, if we are being boastful. But, how many of you know the history of this red delicious fruit, or its many cameos in our cultural lore? This issue hopes to peel back the skin and get to the core of just how ubiquitous apples are in human history. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kBtA8LCplLJ89RDmPMLtNwIetamo4Zwu/view?usp=sharing

Great day for the opening of Clyde’s first permanent story walk! We were so glad to be able to support the supplies with help from some of the last funds from Greater Rochester Health Foundation. Kudos to the Clyde Public Library for their vision and leadership in this project! And to the Village of Clyde for support, and to CCE Wayne staff Rachel and Amy for all the great coordination and community support.
